Bianca Elgar Fashion is pleased to announce that they have won the Coveted Silver A’ Design Award at the International Fashion and Travel Accessories Design Competition for its ‘Three-Sided Skinny’ and the bronze award for the ‘Ava Tunic Dress’. Judged by a panel of international referees, Bianca Elgar was chosen as winner amidst a great deal of high quality International competition from over 100 top fashion designers.
“The idea for the designs came when I needed to pack light for travel, I had a lot to bring with me and that left me having to keep my own clothes to a minimum.”
Inspired by the opportunity of creating a variety of looks with just a few items, as well as showing off scarf prints in a new way, Bianca started her own UK based fashion brand once back in the UK.
The award-winning entries were created from the desire to provide unique designs which are transformative and that can be styled in many ways, so becoming not only fashionable items to wear, but also ‘must have’ investment pieces for the discerning woman.
The scarves are lightweight, easy-to-style and a wonderful start for those who wish to experiment with different ways of wearing a touch of colour and print with their outfits. They are investments pieces that are made with the highest quality silk and seen as wearable pieces of art.
As our thoughts turn to Brexit and the need for the UK to shine on the International Stage, it’s good to know that our very own home grown designers are continuing to win accolades in the very competitive world of quality, versatile and good looking fashion design.
Bianca Elgar is an inspiring designer of a versatile fashion collection, which includes scarves, skirts and dresses along with elegant tops. Bianca’s intention is to create high quality, exclusive clothing for women. The collections are inspired by the love for creativity, the expression of individuality and a passion for high quality craftsmanship, described in two simple words: “Wearable Art”.
