So much is happening in the news at the moment, finding headspace to focus can be quite difficult.
The good thing is that I came across two very useful quotes this week;
“People rarely succeed unless they have fun what they are doing”
“If we want things to stay as they are, things will have to change”
Words are often not enough to describe; a vision, ideas or feelings, but mood and vision boards can be the closest thing to getting in touch with what is going through your mind.
Which is exactly what I decided to create this week, to help me focus.
I created a mood board to help me put together creative inspiration I had gathered recently and a vision board to convey my goals and themes.
I put this one up next to me in my office, instead of the usual “To Do” lists. This one will be added to regularly as it will be my visual notebook for the collection of ideas, thoughts and inspiration I’ve got floating around my head, to keep me going through these times.
Did you spot my cat?
Branwen Bindra drew these expressive portraits of my resident muse.
The muse in ‘action’ on her ‘vision cushion’.
And here is my vision board. This is how I’d like to see and feel. It is going to be my daily reminder to enjoy this journey, to be grateful, to tread fearlessly, be confident, stay motivated and be mindful, with a little help from my creative, magical friends.
I would love to see what you are up to creatively, feel free to reach out.
