Bianca Elgar garments and accessories are made in Britain to the highest standards, please make sure you check the care instructions on the labels, and on silk garments please take note of the care instructions shown on the attached swing tag. To preserve all silk items of clothing - such as scarves, wrap tops and tops - for as long as possible, we recommend that you leave them untied and that you ensure that sharp edged items such as jewellery are kept away from them in order to reduce the risk of threads snagging. It is also advisable to keep your silk items of clothing dry and away from water and harsh chemicals.
We advise dry cleaning for all silk garments, this will help to prolong their luxury appearance, and of course all our other garments can be dry cleaned as well. We especially recommend eco dry cleaning, which is gentler both on fabrics and the earth – see www.greenearthcleaning.com and www.johnsoncleaners.com Please also note that the luxury fibres in our garments and accessories are delicate, so to keep them looking lovely we advise protecting them from sharp jewellery that may snag the fibres.
